Global Legal Renaming Process to Aperam Recycling takes next step

22.04.2026

ZUTENDAAL, Belgium– Following the visual rebranding of the EMEA North region last year, and the name change of the Dutch entity, formerly Jewometaal B.V., into Aperam Recycling Stainless Netherlands B.V., on April 22nd, 2026, the company is proud to announce the next entity legally transitioning their name to Aperam Recycling:

ASB Recycling NV today registered as Aperam Recycling Stainless Belgium NV.

This move marks a pivotal phase in the global alignment with the "One Aperam" vision. The Dutch and Belgium entities are the first two of the four EMEA North locations to undergo this formal name change, serving as the blueprint for the upcoming transitions in Germany and the UK.

"This name change solidifies our unified presence in the global market as the leading player in the circular economy," said Jan Hofmann, CEO of Aperam’s Recycling and Renewables division.

While the name is new, all legal and operational aspects remain the same, ensuring a seamless transition for all stakeholders.
